Kalda is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Ziorre Imperial Army, and an old friend and rival of Escarde and Yassir from training camp. A sword fighting prodigy and a friend of the Emperor's family, Kalda has very quickly ascended through the ranks of the army and now commands his own special battalion. He's friendly, but he's also smug and prone to trying to one-up those around him.
Kalda is renowned for his prowess with a sword and can be a fierce opponent in combat. He commands numerous armored vehicles and ground troops that make Kalda a force to be reckoned with. On top of his physical skill, Kalda is a man of above average intelligence, and he's one of the most dangerous soldiers in the Imperial Army.

Valentia is a veteran of the army of Heleska, where she lives. An exceptionally skilled swordswoman, Valentia is feared and respected in equal measure for her skill in combat. She has an icy demeanor and doesn't have much tolerance for fools, or anyone who's far beneath her skill level. Currently, Valentia teaches aspiring young swordsmen at a school in Heleska.
Valentia's skills with a sword are unparalleled. Her movements in battle are precise and mechanical, and anyone unfortunate enough to go up against her in a sword fight is in for a tough battle. Valentia is nowhere near as skilled at hand-to-hand combat, but her military training means she can reasonably hold her own.

Ghiro is a member of the enigmatic Horned Clan, who live isolated deep in a swamp. His people have sent him to the Ziorre Empire to find help for the mysterious curse plaguing their land. Ghiro enjoys getting in a good scrap, but most of the time he’s quite aloof and doesn’t understand much about cultures outside his own.
Ghiro is exceptionally strong, able to use both his large build and his intimidating horns to his advantage in battle. Ghiro, like all members of the Horned Clan, has an ability to enter into a state he refers to as “Pure Rage”. In this form, Ghiro’s horns and muscles grow and he becomes even stronger, at the cost of being unable to distinguish friend and foe and becoming very weak for a time after his Pure Rage state wears off.

Quattra has the rare talent of being able to read the ancient text on the mysterious Scrolls of Arcane Knowledge. By reading the text on the scroll in her possession, Quattra can manipulate, levitate, and throw objects around her. Without her scroll, Quattra is quite weak, but with its power she becomes a fearsome opponent.

Kirina is a bounty hunter who pretends to be an innocent little girl in order to trick unsuspecting criminals and catch them. Beneath her girlish façade, Kirina is abrasive and violent. Kirina is quite a bit greedy and will do anything as long as she gets paid.
Kirina fights entirely with her hands and feet, and despite her small size and cute appearance, she’s quite formidable. Kirina packs a powerful punch, and prefers to fight by leaping into the air and bringing down her fists on opponents.
